Valle de Arriba is the highest village from Santiago del Teide’s Region, which at the same time names this viewpoint that belongs to the Viewpoints Island Network.
From this viewpoint we may observe El Teide and Abeque’s dorsal. This last one are the remains from the most recent Teide’s volcanic eruption. Here we may also find the Chinyero Volcano, Black Mountain and Bilma Mountain, one of Teide’s spines which departs from Teide-Pico Viejo and reaches Macizo de Teno. In terms of volcanic activity this the Islan’s most active area.
