Cycle tourism, a unique experience

Tenerife has the best conditions to practise cycling; in fact, many professional cyclists from around the world come to train themselves every year. This island with eternal springtime climate is perfect to practise this sport throughout the year. The volcano, with its peak at 3.718 m above sea level, watches over the island’s landscape. The road to get to Teide reaches an altitude of 2.300 m, 40 kilometers at 6%. We assure an epic climb. The routs go through spectacular landscapes which invite to contact with nature. The different routes, beginning with Teide National Park and its moon and volcanic landscapes, moving on to la Corona Forestal, and reaching the Anaga Mountains, will make you fall in love with the unique landscape and enjoy an unforgettable experience.

Discover Tenerife

Tenerife is a volcanic island, whose formation began in the ocean floor about 20-25 million years ago (y.a).

The island’s abrupt orography and its variety of climates give as a result this territory of multiple landscapes and shapes: from Teide National Park with its combination of colors as a result of the many eruptions, to the cliffs at Los Gigantes and its vertical walls, going through semi-desert zones with plants holding the south’s dryness, or even volcanic areas such as el Malpaís de Güimar or el Malpaís de La Rasca.

It also has natural beaches like El Médano (with protected sites in its surroundings such as Montaña Roja and Montaña Pelada), valleys with tropical and subtropical crops, laurel forests found in Anaga or Teno (with deep, steep ravines) and extensive pine forests on top of this last vegetal formation.
